Mission and Goal

The mission of the journal is to publish archival documentary sources, cover current issues in the humanities, and present and introduce scientific achievements and potential to the general public, cooperate with high-level local and foreign specialists, archival institutions, promote the involvement of young researchers/scientists in scientific research activities, to ensure maximum integration and internationalization of research results into the university educational process, which will adequately demonstrate the scientific and research potential of the Adjara Archival Department.

The goal of the journal "Archeion" is to be a rated (internationally-standardized) scientific publication, where highly qualified Kartveliological (linguistic, ethnographic, historical, literary, folklore...) works/research will be published, which will respond to the modern challenges of the humanities. Its goal is to support the successful implementation of the scientific activities of the Archives Administration, support young researchers, encourage interdisciplinary research, and publication of archival documents.

This is a professional, online publication, the goal of which is to create an open space for the exchange of theoretical and practical ideas, as well as documentary sources, in various fields of archival documents and humanities.

The editorial board of "Archeion" welcomes articles written at a high scientific level, oriented towards theory or practice, in various fields of the humanitarian field.

We are trying to be integrated in international scientific bases. Each article submitted to the journal will be sent for review to anonymous experts.
