Very important and interesting events took place in Batumi in March 1921. The occupation of Georgia by the Red Army was already coming to an end, the independent Georgian government was in Batumi and on the one hand it was dealing with the tricks and open aggression of the emissaries of Kemalist Turkey, and on the other hand it was trying to maintain the line of struggle against the Soviet occupiers. During this period, General Mazniashvili maintained the dignity and face of the Georgian army. The main issue was the battles for Batumi. According to the article, the role and merit of General Mazniashvili in the battle for Batumi is convincingly presented.
