In 2017, the Ajara Archival Department faced an important fact. The personal fund of the world-renowned Georgian scientist, the general designer of the Georgian space object "Reflector", Major General Elguja Medzmariashvili, was transferred to the Central Archive of Ajara and joined the National Archival Fund. These are just brief regalia. In addition, Elguja Medzmariashvili is a corresponding member of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Military Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. A fund No. R-723 was opened in the Ajara Archival Department: "Famous Georgian Scientist, Major General. General Designer of the First Georgian Space Object".
